Everything's coming up roses for Jim Brochu and Steve Schalchlin as they celebrate the 100th performance of The Big Voice: God or Merman? on Sunday, March 11th at 3pm. That performance will also mark the duo's last performance in the show before passing the torch to new cast members Carl Danielsen and Dale Radunz. Brochu and Schalchlin have performed the show over 400 times in 8 cities over the past 5 years.

Carl Danielsen has been seen off Broadway in Trolls and Picon Pie, while Dale Radunz has been in Big River and Annie.

There will be a celebration following the March 11th performance to bid Jim and Steve "So Long, Farwell, and auf Wiedersehen."  Danielsen and Radunz will be on hand to help celebrate.

"It has been so exciting and a dream of ours to bring The Big Voice to New York," said Jim Brochu. "The way the theater community has embraced this show has been thrilling." Added Steve Schalchlin, "We enthusiastically welcome Carl and Dale to The Big Voice family, and know they will be an amazing success."

Written by and starring Brochu and Schalchlin, (The Last Session), The Big Voice "hilariously proves that showbiz is as much a calling as the priesthood. This high energy, razzle-dazzle show chronicles the lives of a Baptist from Arkansas and a Catholic from Brooklyn who find eternal salvation in the temple of musical theatre," state press notes.

"The Big Voice traces Jim and Steve's meeting aboard a ship in the Atlantic Ocean, Steve's struggle with AIDS, the production of their hit off-broadway musical The Last Session, their separation and their reconciliation. It's a comedy about a "gay marriage" between two men created by the couple themselves."

The Big Voice currently plays Saturday at 3pm & 8pm and Sunday at 3pm. Beginning March 31st, the show schedule is Saturday at 3pm, Sunday at 2pm and Monday at 8pm.

The show plays at The Actors Temple Theater (339 W. 47th Street) . Tickets can be purchased by calling Telecharge (212) 239-6200 or going to www.Telecharge.com. For more information, please visit www.thebigvoice.com.
