John Patrick Shanley's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama DOUBT has received five 2005 Lucille Lortel Award nominations

DOUBT received the following nominations:

Outstanding Play: John Patrick Shanley Producer: Manhattan Theatre Club Outstanding Director: Doug Hughes Outstanding Actress: Cherry Jones Outstanding Actor: Brían F. O'Byrne Outstanding Featured Actress: Adriane Lenox

Following its sold-out Off-Broadway run at Manhattan Theatre Club, DOUBT recently transferred to Broadway's Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48th Street).

Set against the backdrop of a Bronx Catholic school in 1964, DOUBT is the story of a strong-minded woman faced with a difficult decision. Should she voice concerns about one of her male colleagues…even if she's not entirely certain of the truth?

The Lucille Lortel Awards will be presented on Monday, May 2 at Dodger Stages.

Tickets for DOUBT at the Walter Kerr Theatre are now on sale, and are available by calling Telecharge.com at 212: 239-6200.
