The Manhattan Theatre Club production of DOUBT, the critically acclaimed new play by John Patrick Shanley, will celebrate its Broadway opening tomorrow Thursday, March 31st at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48th Street, between Broadway and Eighth Avenue).

The production, directed by Doug Hughes, stars Cherry Jones as Sister Aloysius and Brían F. O'Byrne as Father Flynn, with Heather Goldenhersh as Sister James and Adriane Lenox as Mrs. Muller.

DOUBT is produced on Broadway by Carole Shorenstein Hays; MTC Productions, Inc. (Lynne Meadow, Artistic Director; Barry Grove, Executive Producer); Roger Berlind; and Scott Rudin.

DOUBT is author John Patrick Shanley's first play to be produced on Broadway.

Set against the backdrop of a Bronx Catholic school in 1964, DOUBT is the story of a strong-minded woman faced with a difficult decision. Should she voice concerns about one of her male colleagues…even if she's not entirely certain of the truth?
