The film adaptation of Dear Evan Hansen officially came to theaters on September 24. This past Friday, Forbes reported that the movie musical adaptation of the Broadway hit isn't bringing in the numbers it was expected to at the box office.
The film earned $730,000 (-78%) on Friday for a $2.4 million (-68%) weekend. Its 10-day cumulative total is $11.75 million. The film had a $26 million budget, and is now projected to bring in a domestic total of $17 million.
