The Cortland Repertory Theatre Guild is happy to be joining the Great Cortland Pumpkinfest again this year by hosting their second annual "Pumpkin Craft Fair"! The CRT Craft Fair will be held in the gymnasium of the Cortland County Office Building at 60 Central Ave in Cortland, just across the street from Courthouse Park, which is located on Church Street (Route 11) in beautiful downtown Cortland. The fair will run the same dates and times as Pumpkinfest: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday, October 3 and noon to 5:00 pm on Sunday, October 4.

The CRT Craft Fair will offer a wide variety of local crafters, adding to the enjoyment of the Pumpkinfest weekend, and the CRT Guild is sure that their offerings will please even the most discriminating of shoppers. Vendors will include Finger Lakes Décor who will offer decorative paintings and free demonstrations, Happy Hippie Hemp & Stuff with hemp and beaded jewelry, and Uniquely You Massage who will offer mini massages on site. Sew Crafty will have table runners, pillowcases, towels and other sewn items, while Walt's Caricatures will offer to create caricatures of customers. Crafts by Edna will have cutout sweatshirts with lace inserts and strip pieced quilted sweatshirt jackets, CBC Toys will have handmade wooden cars and trucks, and Crafty Creations will offer hand painted pottery, canvas art and handcrafted wreaths. Bondgirl Quilter will offer quilted bags, wall hangings and wallets, while Ann's Creations will have hand painted baskets, cards and Halloween treats.

Crochet from A to Z will be selling beautiful crocheted angels, toys and afghans, Carol's Country Classics presents handcrafted gifts and soaps, and Kay's Celtic Collection will have gorgeous Sterling Silver Celtic jewelry. T. M. Freeborn will have 1000 unique pairs of earrings and 500 necklaces strung on Irish linen. Handmade jewelry with glass gemstone and crystal will be offered from KMY Designers while The Dragonfly Collection will have nature and wildlife framed and matted photos. Sherry Erxleben will offer glass pendants, earrings and rings, and MIMIKIS has "a celebration of wool" with toys and natural wool products. Quilled ornaments including stars, crosses and snowflakes will be sold by Neil Riker, Margaret Richardson offers digital enhanced photos and fine art prints and Hill Top Sweets offer wheat & gluten free baked good including a variety of scones, brownies and cookies. B's Crafty Goods will offer face painting and sun bonnets, and Library Stamper will have Halloween Treats, handmade cards and more!

"This past summer, our Guild has had two successful craft fairs at the Bluegrass Festival and Antique Car Show both in Dwyer Park," CRT Producing Artistic Director Kerby Thompson says. "With our Guild's unique and fun approach to hosting these fairs, I'm sure that this final fair of the year will be a success as well." Thompson also points out that the number of vendors has increased significantly from last year, so shoppers will have an even wider variety of items to chose from.

Other crafters attending will be Lloydes Creations (custom Italian charms), Wild Goose Chase (vintage wind chimes), Crafts With an Irish Theme (including double knit mittens, hats, scarves and Irish items), Lucy's China Studio (hand painted porcelain and glass lamps) and Handcrafted by Roger (wooden toys, Christmas ornaments and Welcome signs). Also attending will be Crafts by Viola (tote bags, pocketbooks and accessories), Wearable Art (dinosaur and dragon T-shirts, murals and functional ceramic art tiles) and Craftready Designs (unique handmade beaded jewelry).

Also in attendance will be Quilts by Pam (quilted wall hangings and table runners), The Pink Geranium (antique sepia "instant relatives"), Sandy's Stitches (dish cloths and pot holders), The Fox Den (handmade greeting cards, magnets and pins), The Weathered Crow (country accents) and Pat's Hand Stitched Items (handmade items and Avon products).
