Comix (353 W. 14th) hosts NBC's Stand-up for Diversity on June 29th as well as Comix New Talent, Lynne Koplitz, and Melanie Adelman and Ellie Dvorkin on July 1st. Tickets and more information can be found at online at www.comixny.com.

For six years running, NBC's Stand-up for Diversity gives the brightest young stars of the comedy world a chance at fame. Comics of all stripes bring their unique acts to the Comix stage for a shot at being discovered on June 29th at 8 pm. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 day of show plus a two drink minimum in the showroom.

Comix is the hottest place to see NYC's hottest new comedians at Andy Engel's New Talent Show. The shows are a mix of new talent with seasoned pros and celebrity drop-ins. The show starts at 7 pm on July 1st. Tickets are $15 plus a two drink minimum in the showroom.

Lynne Koplitz (Comedy Central Presents, co-star of the upcoming "Mother Knows Best" with Joan Rivers) brings her one of a kind all-female comedy show, "The Bad Ass Dolls of Comedy" to Comix on July 1st at 9:30 pm. Tickets are $20 on the day of the show, plus a two drink minimum in the showroom.

At the same time in the Copper Room, award-winning funny femmes Melanie Adelman and Ellie Dvorkin with composer Patrick Spencer Bodd perform MEL & EL: OUR TIME OF THE MONTH. The show is like a modern-day Laverne & Shirley full of dirty songs, delightful banter and devilish dish.
This show is $10 with NO ITEM minimum.
