Carolines on Broadway announces its line-up for the month of April 2016, highlighted by headliners Des Bishop, from his stand-up special "Made in China," April 1 - 3; Kurt Metzger, from Louis C.K.'s "Horace and Pete," April 7; Cocoa Brown, John Henton and Rob Stapleton co-headline "April Foolishness," April 8 - 10; D.L. Hughley, host of the nationally syndicated radio program "The D.L. Hughley Show" and NBC's new medical drama "Heartbeat," April 14 - 17; Rory Scovel, from truTV's "Those Who Can't" and his SeeSo stand-up special, "The Charlton Special," April 21 - 22; and Colin Jost, co-anchor of "Weekend Update" on NBC's "Saturday Night Live," April 28 - 30.

Theme nights in April are New Talent on April 4, 11, 18 and 25; Desperation Tonight with Pat Dixon on April 13; Carolines Presents, featuring the best comedians from the Carolines roster, on April 14; and the Breakout Artist Comedy Series on April 19 (with K.C. Arora) and on April 20 (with Brandon Scott Wolf).

Other shows taking place at Carolines on Broadway in April are Brunch Night! with Jamie LeeLo, featuring special guests "CBS This Morning" host Gayle King and "Last Week Tonight with John Oliver" writer Kevin Avery, on April 5; Ester Steinberg, star of Oxygen's "Funny Girls," on April 6; "The Sisters of Comedy," starring Joyelle Johnson, Franchesca Ramsey, Gina Yashire and Sasheer Zamata, on April 7; "The 420 Show with Esther Ku and Friends" on April 20; International Incident, hosted by Anish Shah, on April 21; Dan Levy, from the film "My Sexiest Year," on April 26; and the "Live Laugh Love" Comedy Tour, starring "Black Jesus" star Slink Johnson and featuring Clint Coley and Michael Plant, on April 27 and 28.
