Charlie Pollack, who was seen on Broadway in Urinetown, will join the cast of the off-Broadway hit I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change on January 3rd. The show is currently playing at the Westside Theatre (407 W. 43rd St., between 9th and 10th Avenues).

Pollack will replace Jamie LaVerdiere in the show, in which Anne Bobby, Will Erat and Jodie Langel also appear. With music by Jimmy Roberts with a book and lyrics by Joe DiPietro (All Shook Up), I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change is the longest-running revue in New York history. The show, which satirizes and celebrates love, sex and marriage, has also been seen in 250 other cities throughout the US and the world.

Pollack replaced Hunter Foster as the heroic Bobby Strong in the Broadway production of Urinetown; the musical marked his Broadway debut. Off-Broadway credits include tick, tick...BOOM!, and he has also appeared in The Last Starfighter, Loot, Monica: The Musical, and others.

The Thing About Men was a 2003 off-Broadway musical by Roberts and DiPietro. Among the show's cast were Marc Kudisch, Ron Bohmer, Leah Hocking, Daniel Reichard and Jennifer Simard, an original star of I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change.
