Chamber Music America's May 3 First Tuesdays workshop will be presented by teaching artist and jazz pianist Eli Yamin.
More and more, musicians and presenters are integrating educational and audience-engagement activities into their offerings. And like composing a piece of music, designing a successful arts-in-education presentation demands creativity.In this session, Yamin will help participants identify their artistic strengths, offer insights into communicating with participants of all ages and levels of musical experience, and explore a variety of engaging, hands-on activities.Workshop: Teaching Artistry: Involving Audiences in Your Creative ProcessSpeaker: Eli Yamin

He also heads instruction at Jazz at Lincoln Center's Middle School Jazz Academy, and, as a training specialist, designs and delivers workshops for artists, teachers and executives, in association with Fordham Graduate School of Business.
