The role of Adam Munson on CBS' "As the World Turns" will be passed from one Broadway star to another.

The Light in the Piazza star Matthew Morrison, who currently plays the son of Margo Hughes and Hal Munson, will be seen as Adam for the last time on November 27th.  Matt Cavenaugh, currently appearing as both patrician bachelor Joe Kennedy Jr. and corn-liking gardener Jerry in Broadway's Grey Gardens, will replace him.

Cavenaugh's first episode will premiere on November 29th.  The star will shoot episodes of "ATWT" during the day and perform in the Broadway musical--which co-stars Christine Ebersole and Mary Louise Wilson--at night.

Cavenaugh last appeared on Broadway as Bud in Urban Cowboy.  He was also a cast member of "One Life to Live" from 2004 to 2005, and has appeared in films such as Little Monsters.
