Castor Gallery is pleased to announce 18 Percent, a group exhibition celebrating artworks in monochrome. The show opens today, February 5th at 6:00 pm with a reception until 9:00 pm.

Featuring artworks by Sarra Badel, Christopher Beckman, Sandra Chevrier, Douglas Cloninger, Nick Farhi, Amanda Fenlon, Matt Jones, Pryce Lee, Micaela McLucas, Lucas Price and Adam Shrewsbury, each artist has created a monochrome work relying on form and medium, to command and convey emotion and meaning, rather than a spectrum of lurid colors. Each work is tied to the next through a focus on a particular color and the artists' individual interests in playing upon that color's strengths and limitations.

18 Percent is Castor Gallery's second curated exhibition since its official opening in January of 2015. The gallery's first solo show, Fractal Realities by Lala Abaddon will open on February 26th.
