Casting Change 3/25 At Met: Baird Replaces Voigt

 Janice Baird will sing the role of Isolde in this evening's performance of Wagner's Tristan und Isolde replacing Deborah Voigt, who is ill. Ms. Baird made her Met debut as Isolde on March 14, substituting for Voigt who withdrew due to illness during Act II.

James Levine conducts, and Ben Heppner sings his first Tristan of the season. Voigt is still scheduled to sing the final performance of the run on Friday, March 28.
