Casting Announced for BROADWAY MEETS JAZZ, Performing 11/16

Full casting has been announced for Lincoln Center's BROADWAY MEETS JAZZ to benefit Chris Henry & Royal Family Productions. The cast will include Becca Ayers, John Cariani, Sheila Carpenter, Danielle Chambers, Wycliffe Gordon, Autumn Hurlbert, William Michals, and Andrew Samonsky. The event will take place at Clark Theatre at Lincoln Center on November 16th at 7:00pm and will be presented as a part of the Under the Starts at Lincoln Center series.

Some of the biggest stars of Broadway and Jazz come out for an evening of entertainment for one night only at Lincoln Center. South Pacific's Becca Ayers and Andrew Samonsky who star opposite Kelly O'Hara, join world famous Broadway and opera veteran William Michals, Tony-nominee John Cariani ("Fiddler on the Roof"), jazz legend Wycliffe Gordon and Autumn Hurlbert (MTV's "Legally Blond the Musical: The Search for Elle Woods"). This benefit production, "Broadway Meets Jazz Under the Stars at Lincoln Center," also features students from Royal Family's drama program. Proceeds will benefit the company's 2010 season and fund scholarships for their after school program. Chris Henry & Royal Family Productions, Inc. is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization.

Tickets for the event are available at $100 and $50, with VIP tickets available for $250. They may be purchased online.

Chris Henry & Royal Family Productions, Inc. is a Non-Profit Theatre company whose mission is to make theater as accessible and as enjoyable as television, producing work that is multi-generational, multi-ethnic, and multi-disciplined. The company is comprised of both an Afterschool Drama program and a Mainstage Theatre program. In both programs, the apprenticeship model is embraced, pairing novice performers and crew with professionals allowing for an optimal learning environment.
