Carnegie Hall Presents Rickie Lee Jones for Annual WFUV LIVE AT ZANKEL Series on 10/27

Grammy Award-winning musician Rickie Lee Jones kicks off the annual WFUV Live at Zankel Hall concert series with an intimate, one-night-only performance on Friday, October 27 at 10:00 p.m. Jones, who is widely applauded for her intricate mix of jazz, rock, and folk, will perform selections from her recently released album The Other Side of Desire, in addition to songs from her legendary musical catalogue.
Prior to all WFUV Live at Zankel performances, beginning at 9:00 p.m., concert-goers are invited to enjoy a laid-back pre-concert experience with drinks in the Zankel Hall lounge where they can meet others who share their passion for music. The WFUV Live at Zankel series, which began in October 2005 as City Folk Live at Zankel, is based on WFUV's pioneering music format which blends adult rock, alternative rock, singer-songwriters, and roots music. Previous artists who have performed as part of the series include Rosanne Cash, Shawn Colvin, Citizen Cope, Cowboy Junkies, Richie Havens, Indigo Girls, Valerie June, Nick Lowe, Shelby Lynne, Aimee Mann, Nellie McKay, Joan Osborne, Duncan Sheik, and Suzanne Vega, among others.
