Candlelight Dinner Playhouse Holds Children's Auditions for JOSEPH, 4/10

The Candlelight Dinner Playhouse's new production staff and creative team are holding children's auditions for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber. Joseph will be Directed and Choreographed by Brian Burron. Production Manager is Peter Muller.

Children's auditions will be held April 10th from 11am to 1pm at the Candlelight Dinner Playhouse. Auditions are by appointment only and can be made by calling the Box Office at 970-744-3747. Singing experience required and some dance/movement as well as other performance experience is preferred.

Actors should bring photo and resume and prepare 16-32 bars of a musical theater piece or pop song in the style of the show. An accompanist will be provided. Please bring sheet music in the appropriate key. No accapella or recorded music. You may sing a song from the show. Rehearsals will begin approximately May 10th with rehearsal times to be determined.

All rehearsals for children will be outside of the normal school day and may include Sunday-Wednesday afternoon/evenings as well as Saturday morning/afternoons. Joseph will open June 4th and run thru August 22nd. Performances are Thurs. thru Sat. evenings and Sunday matinees. Additional performances may be added. The children's chorus will be double cast with each cast alternating performances throughout the summer allowing for vacation conflicts.

The Candlelight Dinner Playhouse is Colorado's newest and largest professional dinner theater. It is a multimillion dollar facility dedicated to using Colorado's finest talent.
