Ars Nova will present Tony Award-winner Cady Huffman on Sunday, August 20 at 7:00 PM and Monday, August 21 at 8:00 PM at Ars Nova (511 West 54th Street).  Directed by David Brind (Sandra Bernhard: Everything Bad and Beautiful), "Cady Huffman: Live at Ars Nova" is Huffman's first one-woman show.

"With a range of composers from Townsend to Sondheim and hilarious tales about everything from making her Broadway debut as a drag queen to having aspirations of becoming an operatic soprano, Huffman's fantastic mixture of stories and songs is sure to deliver just what you want and a lot more than you expect," state press notes on the show, which will feature musical direction by Mitchell Kaplan.

Huffman played Ulla in the Broadway smash hit The Producers, for which she won the Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards.  She was Larry David's "anniversary present" on "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and Dr. Paige Miller on "One Life To Live."  Film credits include self-produced film festival favorite Sunday on the Rocks, Hero (with Dustin Hoffman), Space Marines, Billy's Dad Is A Fudgepacker, Twenty Dollar Drinks, as well as Itty Bitty Titty Committee and John Turturro's Romance & Cigarettes, both scheduled for release later this year.
