C4 to Present Student Competition Winners and More in 'EMERGING' Concert

C4: The Choral Composer/Conductor Collective will present Emerging - Winners of C4's First Student Competition and Other Works, the second concerts of its Collaboration 2016-17 New York season on Thursday, March 2 at Church of Saint Luke in the Fields, 487 Hudson Street (south of Christopher St.), and Saturday, March 4 at Baruch Performing Arts Center, One Bernard Baruch Way (25th St. between & 3rd Aves) - both in Manhattan.

C4 continues its second decade with this program featuring the group's trademark eclecticism. Works to be presented include three winners of C4's first Student Composer Competition, including international composers Carlos Pérez Tabares and Filip Holacký, and New York's Ben Zucker, as well as works by Nathaniel Barnett (C4), TEd Hearne, Jamie Klenetsky Fay (C4), David See (C4), Christopher Theofanidis and Perry Townsend (C4).

Tickets for the March 2 and 4 concerts are $20 general admission, $25 day of performance, with 10 $4 "Rush" admissions 30 minutes advance at the door. Tickets can be ordered at www.c4ensemble.org/march-2017-concerts.html. Concert program notes are also available at that address.
