"Broadway Bares 16: New York Strip" will be held this Sunday, June 18 at Roseland Ballroom (239 West 52nd Street) to benefit Broadway Cares/ Equity Fights AIDS for two performances only (9:30 PM and midnight).

Theatre luminaries Sandra Bernhard (Everything Bad and Beautiful); Mario Cantone (Laugh Whore); Alan Cumming (Threepenny Opera); Fran Drescher (Some Girl(s)); Barrett Foa (Avenue Q); Sara Gettelfinger (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels); Cyndi Lauper (Threepenny Opera); Andrew Rannells (Hairspray); Rita Wilson (Chicago); Josh Strickland (Tarzan); and from the cast of Jersey Boys, Dominic Nolfi, Daniel Reichard, J. Robert Spencer, and John Lloyd Young; are scheduled to take part in this year's "Bares." (Bernhard and Wilson will only appear at the 9:30 PM show).

"This year's edition of 'Broadway Bares' is the sexiest take ever on New York City's colorful characters and interesting places. The show celebrates everything that is New York: the sexy neighborhood coffee shop waitress serving it up hot, the steamy firemen saving the day, and the local pizza delivery boy bringing a pie to your apartment. This year's 'Bares' is sure to offer something to indulge every Gothamite's hottest fantasies about sex in the city," state press notes.

"Broadway Bares" is produced by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, executive produced by Tony Award-winner Jerry Mitchell (Hairspray, La Cage Aux Folles) and directed by Denis Jones (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels).

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA) is the nation's leading industry-based, nonprofit AIDS fund raising and grant making organization. Tickets for the 9:30 PM show are: $600 VIP seating plus open bar, $225 VIP standing plus open bar, $95 priority viewing, $50 general admission. Tickets for the midnight show are the same, with the exception that there is no priority viewing option.
