Bulova introduces a new selection of timepieces to the groundbreaking Precisionist Chronograph collection. The elegant collection features fashion-forward design while capturing the advanced Precisionist technology. The only chronograph in the world to combine 1/1,000th second timekeeping, ten-second per year accuracy and chronograph timing of up to twelve hours, all at-a-glance on one single dial, the Bulova Precisionist Chronograph is the ultimate in precision, accuracy and style.
"As part of our continued dedication to watch making excellence, the new Bulova Precisionist Chronograph collection takes timekeeping to a new level of innovation and design," said Gregory Thumm, Bulova President. "Each timepiece is an incomparable creation of visionary design with exquisite detailing and unparalleled technology."
The Bulova Precisionist Chronograph collection builds upon the success of the original Precisionist launch by pairing luxurious materials with fine craftsmanship. This season's versatile collection includes dress styles with classic leather attachments as well as textured rubber straps on sportier versions.
Adding to the sophisticated aesthetic, these timepieces include stainless steel and large dials outfitted with curved crystals. Intricate patterns and textured dial treatments in multiple layers include black carbon fiber and rose gold tone accents. The black ionic plated and rose gold tone cases add a contemporary feel to the collection.
The new timepieces maintain the prestige and technology of the original Precisionist styles, including four subdials - a dual-duty 1/10- and 1/100-second counter, hour and minute measures, and a distinctive 1/1,000-second track with retrograde indicator. The continuously sweeping second hand measures seconds in chronograph timing mode. This intricacy makes extraordinarily precise timing easy and logical.
The Bulova Precisionist Chronograph Fall 2013 collection will be available globally beginning July 2013 from $599 to $799.
