La Cage aux Folles star Bryan Batt, the "Broadway actor, native New Orleanian, magazine street retailer, and Katrina Fundraiser fanatic," is organizing the second annual "Magazine Street Retail Relief" to be held on Saturday, November 4th.

The event is, "an all-day celebration, with jazz, festivities, and fun for the whole family to boost the continued economic resurgence of historic Magazine St.--a six-mile promenade of unique locally-owned boutiques, galleries and restaurants."

Last Year's grassroots effort was a joyous success.  One year later, as New Orleans continues to rebuild, merchants will once again do their part and join together for a day of special promotions, in-shop events and charitable donations.
