Broward Cultural Division Seeks Photographers for 'Inside Out' Initiative; Deadline 9/30

Broward County, FL -- Professional photographers are sought for Broward Cultural Division's initiative, Inside Out. Launched in 2007 by French street artist JR, Inside Out is a global art project transforming messages of personal identity into works of art. The movement provides communities an expressive, fun platform through black and white photography. Individuals are captured in headshots, and those portraits are made into a large-scale paper collage of which is later pasted in public spaces. Since 2007, Inside Out installations have graced walls, sidewalks, staircases and historical buildings in more than 112 countries.
Broward County's Inside Out project will develop a unique photographic collage of the community's most valuable resource, its citizens.
Photographer Eligibility:
- Must be a Broward County resident for a minimum of 12 months and have proof of residency to apply.
- Applicants must be 18 years or older.
