The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that BKLYN DESIGNS will return on May 10-12, 2013 at St. Ann's Warehouse in DUMBO. BKLYN DESIGNS 2013, launching in conjunction with New York Design Week, is New York's premier exhibition of contemporary furnishings and home accessories that are designed or manufactured in Brooklyn.

This internationally renowned juried exhibition features a dynamic collection of designs from the most innovative Brooklyn-based furnishing designers and manufacturers.

"I am thrilled to announce that BKLYN DESIGNS is coming back in 2013," said Carlo A. Scissura, President & CEO of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce. "This three-day event shows off the best Brooklyn has to offer when it comes to cutting edge interior designers and manufacturers. The design world will once again get the chance to see the creative energy and innovation this borough has to offer. Everyone knows that Brooklyn is the center of New York's creative community and this trade show will once again highlight that. I would like to thank the Auster Agency for helping produce this great event and for helping to bring it back."

Over the past decade, BKLYN DESIGNS has grown to be one of the biggest design shows in the country, featuring scores of exhibitors. Each year, BKLYN DESIGNS raises the bar for avant-garde, iconic Brooklyn designs, exceeding the expectations of both participants and viewers alike.

This year will be no exception. The 10th Annual BKLYN DESIGNS promises to be more inspiring and hotter than ever. Thousands of visitors are expected to descend on DUMBO over the three-day show to take in the dynamic collection of designs, including the latest contemporary furniture, lighting, carpet and flooring, wall coverings, tabletop/outdoor furniture, and accessories coming out of Brooklyn.

"Brooklyn Designs is a major platform -- not only emerging talent, but for young designers who are breathing creative life into New York City," said Wendy Goodman, design editor at New York Magazine. "It is more important than ever to hear their voice. Hurray for Brooklyn Designs!"
