Broadway Serves to Host Largest Ever Kids Serve Thanksgiving Event This Weekend
This Saturday, November 7th, Broadway Serves will be hosting over 60 Broadway kid performers from 9 different shows as they volunteer their time and creativity. Participants will decorate Thanksgiving bags for God's Love We Deliver, a meal delivery program that services NYC residents too sick to grocery shop or cook for themselves.
Broadway Serves is a service organization comprised of members of the Broadway and greater theater community who are looking to "be the change we want to see in the world."
The Kids Serve program began in the summer of 2013 in order to provide young performers with opportunities to participate in community service activities.
