James is well known for her role as 'Lady Rose Aldridge' in the TV series DOWNTON ABBEY and for playing the title role in Disney's live-action CINDERELLA. She is set to star onstage in Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company's ROMEO AND JULIET this spring and has also tread the boards in PLAY HOUSE and DEFINITELY THE BAHAMAS at London's Orange Tree Theatre, OTHELLO at the Crucible, THE SEAGULL at Southwark Playhouse, and VERNON GOD LITTLE at the Young Vic. Among the actress' other screen credits are PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES, the BBC miniseries WAR & PEACE, WRATH OF THE TITANS and more.
