Bridge Street Live to Host Rodney Dangerfield Tribute this Friday, 10/4
On Friday, October 4th, Bridge Street Live pays respect to the man who couldn't "get no respect," American actor and comedian, Rodney Dangerfield. Dangerfield is well known for his roles in the classic eighties comedies, Caddyshack,Easy Money, and Back to School, as well as for his Grammy award winning comedy album, "No Respect." Rodney Dangerfield is widely considered a forefather of American comedy, and on October 4th, Andy Pitz, Andy Hendrickson, and host Mark Riccadonna, will pay tribute to his inspirational comic style.
Andy Pitz has been doing standup comedy in New York City for twenty years, but has branched out into TV, with performances on The Late Show with David Letterman and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. His routines often concern topical and domestic dramas, such as technology and social media, fatherhood, and marriage.
Andy Hendrickson is a New York City comedian and writer, who has appeared multiple times on Fox TV's Red Eye and made his debut on The Late Show with David Letterman in March 2013. Touted as a "burgeoning powerhouse in the comedy world" by Rooftop Media, Hendrickson was the showcase winner of HBO's U.S. Comedy and Arts Festival in Aspen, and a finalist in the Great American Comedy Festival. His latest comedy album, "Underachiever," was welcomed with rave reviews and a coveted spot on the iTunes Top 40 list.
