Blue Mountain Gallery showcases the gallery artists in "Points of View" today, December 1-22 with a reception today, December 1st from 3 to 6 pm.

While any work of art is an artist's point of view, the works in this exhibition focus on that quality. The pieces include interpretations of microscopic forms, expressive manipulations of unusual angles of vision, playful placements of figures whose points of view contrast with that of the artist and more abstract presentations of a visual experience. Reflecting the broad range of artistic approaches, the literal positions taken include a range from precarious to stable, and the kind of details varies from carefully detailed to highly abstracted and expressive.

The exhibition includes sculpture, prints, drawings, mixed media and paintings.

A parallel show of smaller works, "Blue Mountain Gallery : Points of View," will be exhibited at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, NJ, November 26 – Dec 20, 2012.
