Bloomingdale's and the upcoming Broadway production CIRQUE DREAMS JUNGLE FANTASY will partner in sponsoring a Design Your Own Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy Costume Contest throughout the month of June. Winning contestants will have their imaginative sketches and costume designs brought to life from the page to the Broadway stage in the production of CIRQUE DREAMS JUNGLE FANTASY at the Broadway Theatre.
Neil Goldberg, the founder of CIRQUE DREAMS and artistic director of the Broadway-bound JUNGLE FANTASY, is the dream master behind the inventive, interactive concept. Goldberg is calling on people of all ages to submit sketches for CIRQUE DREAMS JUNGLE FANTASY, the company's acclaimed production that is set in an enchanted forest- come- to-life and filled with a cast of international Olympians, graceful aerialists, spine bending contortionists, vine swinging characters, dancers, musicians and more. CIRQUE DREAMS JUNGLE FANTASY begins performances June 16 at the Broadway Theatre, for a ten week limited engagement.
"We came up with this concept in an effort to engage people of all ages with an experience that can bring their own dreams to life, an opportunity I wish I had as a young daydreamer," Goldberg said.
Anyone wishing to submit a sketch of their own jungle theme costume idea can do so by submitting their design ideas at drop-off locations within either of Bloomingdale's two Manhattan stores, Lexington & 59th or SoHo. If chosen, the costume design team at CIRQUE DREAMS STUDIOS will interpret and manufacture the winning costume and premiere it onstage during the shows performance run on Broadway. The three top winners will also receive prizes and tickets to see the show. Costumes from CIRQUE DREAMS JUNGLE FANTASY will be on display in both Bloomingdale's stores throughout the month of June.

CIRQUE DREAMS JUNGLE FANTASY is affordably priced from $25 to $95 and will perform 8 shows weekly at the Broadway Theatre from June 16th through August 24th. The weekly performance schedule is Mondays at 8 pm; Tuesdays at 7pm; Thursday and Friday evenings at 8pm; Saturdays at 2 pm and 8 pm and Sundays at 2 pm and 7 pm.
