Broadway Triple Threat (BTT) is extremely proud to announce that Tony winner Billy Porter (KINKY BOOTS), Tony winner Jerry Mitchell (KINKY BOOTS, LEGALLY BLONDE, CATCH ME IF YOU CAN), and Tony nominee Laura Osnes (CINDERELLA, ANYTHING GOES, GREASE, BONNIE AND CLYDE), will be three of our guest artists this summer.

Broadway Triple Threat is a 6-day Musical Theater Summer Intensive in New York City (July 15-20, 2013) and in Philadelphia (August 5-10, 2013). "We sing, dance, act and sweat," says Artistic Director and Broadway veteran, Catherine Cox. "We celebrate process and work hard to inspire our young actors to take their craft seriously. We feel it's important that they understand the hard work and dedication that is necessary to become an incredible performer like our guest artists." The guests will speak to the students about their respective journeys to Broadway and about what it takes to make it in this highly competitive, extraordinary field. The program is designed for ages 12-15 and 16 and up. ADMISSION IS BY AUDITION ONLY. There are still some spaces open for both programs.

Broadway Triple Threat is now in it's fifth year. It attracts young actors from all over the United States. Tony nominated actress, Catherine Cox and David Evans (Associate Conductor of WICKED) are the co-Artistic Directors. Ms. Cox has had leading roles in eight Broadway shows and is also on the musical theater faculty of The American Musical and Dramatic Academy and Queens College in New York City. Mr. Evans is a Drama Desk nominated composer who has conducted numerous musicals on Broadway and at Lincoln Center. Previous BTT guest artists have included Pulitzer Prize winner Tom Kitt (NEXT TO NORMAL), Tony Award winner Sutton Foster (ANYTHING GOES), Tony Award winner Lin-Manuel Miranda (IN THE HEIGHTS), and many high profile casting directors.
