Beyonce Announced as Met Gala Chair

WWD reports that Beyonce will act as honorary chair at this year's Costume Institute Gala alongside the fashion big wigs like Vogue's editor Anna Wintour and Givenchy fashion designer Riccardo Tisci.
As honorary chair do, Beyonce will help welcome this year's Met Costume Institute exhibition "Punk: Chaos to Couture" which opens to the public May 9.
The Costume Institute Gala is lovingly known as the Oscars for the fashion industry. Last year, Beyonce rocked a sheer Givenchy gown with a purple-feathered train. Although she will be very busy this year with her Mrs. Carter world tour, I can't help but wonder what she will wear if she makes a surprise appearance.
