Beth Leavel Joins DUETS With The Write Teachers(s) Volume 6 at Feinstein's/54 Below

Beth Leavel has joined the cast of DUETS with thewriteteachers.com Volume 6 on June 22 at Feinstein's/54 Below.

Ms. Leavel received Tony, Drama Desk, NY Outer Critics Circle and LA Drama Critics Awards for her performance as the title character in The Drowsy Chaperone. Beth also received Tony, Drama Desk, and Outer Critics Circle nominations for her role as Florence Greenberg in Baby, It's You. Other Broadway roles include June Adams in Bandstand, Emily in Elf, Donna in Mamma Mia!, Frau Blucher in Young Frankenstein, Dorothy Brock in the revival of 42nd Street, Tess in the original company of Crazy For You, Mrs. Bixby in The Civil War, Ellie in Hal Prince's Showboat,and Anytime Annie (her Broadway debut) in 42nd Street. Ms. Leavel was also seen in New York City Center Encores! production of No, No, Nanette as Lucille. She originated the role of DeeDee Alan in the World Premiere of Prom at the ALLIANCE THEATRE. She has performed the roles of Sally Adams in Call Me Madam at Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma, and M'Lynn in Steel Magnolias at the North Carolina Theatre. She recently made her NY Cabaret debut at 54 Below to sell-out audiences. Numerous Off-Broadway, regional theatre, commercials, and TV, including the final episode of ER. MFA from UNC-G. DUETS with The Write Teacher(s) is back at Feinstein's/54 Below for the sixth time on June 22, 9:30pm.

Conceived and produced by Megan Minutillo (in association with thewriteteachers.com), with musical direction by Todd Hulet, the evening will feature music from across the musical theatre canon, pairing one Broadway hopeful with a Broadway and/or NYC performer who's inspired them to join, and stay, in this crazy life of show business. Ms. Leavel joins a cast that features Samantha Gershman, Alicia Krakauer, Lindsey Mader, and Stephanie Turci - with additional Broadway hopefuls and idols soon to be announced!
