On Tuesday November 11th at 5:00 PM, The Drama Book Shop located on 250 W. 40th Street will be celebrating the release of the latest volume of the critically-acclaimed series Best American Short Plays and its new editor, Barbara Parisi. This event will consist of selected readings performed by the playwrights as well as actors. The following are scheduled to appear:

Graeme Gillis, Charlie Blake's Boat

Samuel Brett Williams, Arkadelphia
w/ Matt Unger, Michael Hirstreet, Jonathan Karp, & Dan Swern

Amy Fox, Heights
w/ Julie Leedes, Chris Stack, & Lance Rubin

Michael Roderick, I'll Do It Tomorrow...
w/ Laura Credidio, Jeff Stevens, & Regina Myers

Susan Miller, Reading List
w/ Kathryn Grody, David Walters, Dan Via, Alexis Slade, & Rachael Hip-Flores

Barbara Parisi, the new editor of the series, will be hosting the event as well as signing copies after the readings.

This collection also includes David Lindsay-Abaire's Crazy Eights, Yussef El-Guindi's Such a Beautiful Voice is Sayeda's and Karima's City, Audrey Cefaly's fin & euba, Jill Elaine Hughes's The Devil is in the Details, Billy Aronson's The News, K. Biadaszkiewicz's He Came Home One Day While I Was Washing the Dishes, Jolene Goldenthal's Letty on a Bench, and Cherie Vogelstein's Erros-Love is Deaf.

Best American Short Plays 2004-2005 is published by Applause Theatre & Cinema Books, an imprint of Hal Leonard Corportation.
