Bay Street is keeping it warm this December with holiday festivities for everyone to enjoy.

The fun begins on Thursday, December 3rd at 7pm, as Bay Street and Bay Burger join forces to present THE JAM SESSION. Many locals are already familiar with this relaxed, two-hour evening of live jazz music which up until now has been presented Thursday evenings at the popular Burger joint. Now, as Bay Burger shutters its doors for the winter season, THE JAM SESSION relocates to Bay Street for continued weekly winter music fun. Come enjoy this kick off evening and then return weekly on Thursdays beginning again on January 7th. This event is free to the public, with donations welcome.

Ready for the first holiday party of the season? Grab your friends and neighbors after work on Friday, December 4th and join in the fun at Bay Street's HOLIDAY KICKOFF PARTY. The fun begins at 5:30 pm and features festive food and drink, raffles, silent auctions, cocktails and more. Guests will even be able to cross items off their holiday shopping list, with local artwork, spa certificates, vacations and more available to bid on or buy. And with a 50/50 raffle, guests might even leave with more money than they came in with! Celebrate the holiday season with friends, and support Bay Street at the same time. Tickets include wine by Channing Daughters, beer from the Southampton Publick House, and food by Michael Mossalino's Fine Food & Catering. Guests may also choose to stay and enjoy the weekly Picture Show beginning at 8pm. The cost for the party is just $40 and tickets can be purchased at the door or by calling the box office at 631-725-9500.

On the same weekend, THE PICTURE SHOW, sponsored in part by Reilly Windows & Doors, returns for the last time this year. December 4th and 5th will feature Albert Finney WEEKEND with "Two For The Road" on Friday, December 4th and "Tom Jones" on Saturday, December 5th. Both films start at 8pm with doors opening at 7:30 pm. Tickets to films are $5 unless otherwise noted and can be purchased one-half hour before show time. The American Hotel will again offer a $25 "Dinner and A Movie" prix-fixe package, which includes a 3-course dinner, a ticket to the film and popcorn. Dinner reservations should be made by calling the hotel directly at 631-725-3535. The Picture Show will return in 2010 with Elvis Weekend on January 8th and 9th.

For all kids and those that are kids at heart, bring your camera to Bay Street on Saturday, December 5th for a meet and greet and photos with everyone's favorite holiday visitor...Santa Claus! Santa will be at the theatre between 4 and 6pm to listen to those holiday wishes.

Looking ahead, mark the calendar now for a "Celtic Christmas" with the Irish music sensation, CHERISH THE LADIES on Friday, December 18th at 8pm. With their unique and spectacular blend of virtuosi instrumental talents, beautiful vocals, captivating arrangements and stunning step dancing, this powerhouse group combines all the facets of Irish traditional culture and puts it forth in an immensely humorous and entertaining package. Tickets are $50.
