Bartlett Sher Talks THE KING AND I Revival In New Video Featurette

Lincoln Center Theater revival of Rodgers & Hammerstein's beloved classic musical The King and I starring Ken Watanabe and Kelli O'Hara recently took home several 2015 Tony Awards including Best Revival Of A Musical and Best Actress In A Musical and a brand new behind the scenes video featurette showcasing director Bartlett Sher is now available to view.

"The beautiful thing about Rodgers & Hammerstein is they are undervalued for how innovative they were in musical theatre for trying things that no one else had tried," Sher recounts.

"It's pretty impressive what they were on to as artists," Sher continues.

"They were willing to pushing the form ahead," Sher says.

Additionally, an in studio look at Kelli O'Hara, Ruthie Ann Miles and more performing selections for the cast recording can be viewed, as well.
