Barb Jungr Celebrates Elvis in Joe's Pub Show, Jan. 27 & Feb. 5

Barb Jungr will appear at Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette St.) in Love Me Tender on January 27th and February 5th at 7:00PM. 

The winner of The 2003 New York Backstage International Artist of the Year Award, "Jungr has been described as the most original voice to emerge from Britain in years. In this funny and powerful show, Barb reinterprets Elvis Presley's most famous songs, as well as some of his lesser known and gospel numbers, creating a compelling journey through, love, obsession and faith," state press notes.  "Barb's witty interactions with her audiences and vocal virtuosity have led to comparisons with Piaf, Nina Simone, Bette Midler, and Janis Joplin."
