Alec Baldwin, Matthew Broderick, Martin Short, Madonna, and a host of others will guest judge on the upcoming season of the ABC television show, "The Marriage Ref." The season begins February 28th and is hosted by Tom Papa and was conceived by comedian Jerry Seinfeld.

The premise of the show involves real life couples who have been having an on-going fight for a long time. A video clip is shown to the three-member celebrity panel, showing both sides of the argument. The celebrity panel then discuss the merits of each side of the argument and vote on who they think is right. In addition to the celebrity panel, there is also a celebrity fact checker who can provide additional information to aid in the decision making. In the episode with Madonna, for instance, Maria Menounos fills this role. Though the Marriage Ref may take their advice, he is free to make up his own mind about who is right.

The show is to be produced by Jerry Seinfeld, who will serve as a judge alongside Kelly Ripa and Alec Baldwin. On the February 19, 2010 edition of the Late Show with David Letterman, guest Tom Papa announced that Marv Albert will be the announcer for The Marriage Ref.

The full lineup of guest judges will include Broderick, Baldwin, Short, and Madonna, as well as Matt Lauer, Sarah Silverman, Larry David, Ricky Gervais and Cedric the Entertainer.

The show will have a sneak preview on NBC on Sunday, February 28th at 10:30PM Eastern/9:30PM Central, after the 2010 Winter Olympics Closing Ceremony and will move to its official time slot on Thursday, March 4 at 10:00PM Eastern/9:00PM Central.
