Bay Street Theatre, a not-for-profit professional regional theatre located on the Long Wharf in Sag Harbor announced the 2008 Target Mainstage Season this week.

The 2008 Target Mainstage Season will run June 3 – August 31 and will feature the revival of the hilarious comedy Shanghai Moon (June 3 – June 29), by Charles Busch; the production will feature Busch and comedienne Julie Halston.

The second production is the revival of Noel Coward's witty and wonderful Private Lives (July 8  – July 27), directed by Tony Award winner Jack Hofsiss, and features Alec Baldwin and Kate Burton in the cast.

The Final production of the 2008 Target Mainstage Season is the Broadway musical favorite Ain't Misbehavin' (August 5 – August 31). The show celebrates the music of Fats Waller, and is based on the idea by Murray Horwitz and Richard Maltby, Jr. The production will be directed and choreographed by Marcia Milgrom Dodge who most recently directed and choreographed the world premiere of Julie Andrew's Simeon's Gift at Bay Street Theatre. 

The 2008 Target Mainstage Season is made possible in part through a generous underwriting gift by Target Stores. Subscriptions and single tickets for the 2008 Target Mainstage Season will be available on line at www.baystreet.org beginning December 17, 2007. The box office will close December 16, 2007 and will reopen in mid-February, at which time you may purchase Subscriptions, Flex Passes, Student Flex Passes and single tickets by phone.
