The Bacon Brothers will be playing a benefit concert in Philadelphia at the Zellerbach Theatre at the Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, April 4. The Bacon Brothers, the American musical duo of Philadelphia's born and bred actor/musician Kevin Bacon and musician brother Michael Bacon, will perform two benefit concerts for Bancroft NeuroHealth. Proceeds from the concerts are used to enhance programs for Bancroft, based in Haddonfield, NJ, who annually serves more than 1,300 children and adults with autism, developmental disabilities, acquired brain injuries and other neurological impairments.

For as long as they can remember, the brothers Bacon have played music together. In the early '90s, having established successful film & music careers respectively, Kevin and Michael revisited their childhood collaboration and created The Bacon Brothers band. They have recorded five albums and have toured the US extensively over the past ten years & recently took the act overseas for a run of highly successful shows at the Blue Note in Tokyo, Japan. http://www.baconbros.com.

Film star Kevin Bacon starred on Broadway in 2 plays, An Almost Holy Picture in 2002 and Slab Boys in 1983. He is married to actress Kyra Sedgwick.

The Bacon Brothers will perform two, one-set concerts, 7 PM and 9:30 PM. Reserved seating. Tickets are $35, $48 and $60. For tickets all 215-898-3900. The Zellerbach Theatre is located at 3680 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, PA. http://www.pennpresents.org.
