The Very Good Looking Initiative are back with a show that is the comedy-theatrical version of the sensation you get at the end of a YouTube Hole, and if you think Family Guy knows how far they can stretch a joke, wait until you see Let's Get Practical! Live. Any lovers of the Fringe condition and the Cranberries need to book their tickets instantly, and if you find yourself slightly inebriated by the time the curtain goes up (which I do declare I didn't), then the odds are sure to be in your favour.

Part quiz-show, part mid-youth crisis, part abstraction of the Anglo-Australian experience, Let's Get Practical! Live is a unique opportunity to reach peak-arousal simultaneously to peak-confusion, and if that's not what Fringe is all about then my name's not [ERROR://privacy breach].

The comedic styles of each performer in Let's Get Practical! Live brings the work well as an expression of physical, post-verbal and dance hilarity, with each performer sacrificing all sense of dignity to work the audience into a frenzy of laughter - which is impressive in itself because all great comedians take this risk of trusting the audience to come along for the ride with them, and they brought the house down regardless of whether they were on stage or not. And those costumes - or lack thereof - really give the work some oomph. They are The Very Good Looking Initiative after all!

Patrick Durnan Silva's waxing ocker, Honor Wolff's cabaret conniption and Elliot Gee's internal monologue were humour highlights - spin the wheel on Let's Get Practical! Live. You literally have nothing to lose.
