BWW EXCLUSIVE: Doreen Montalvo, Danny Bolero set to star in Jesse Sanchez's AMERICANO: A LATINX MUSICAL
BroadwayWorld has exclusively learned that Broadway stars Doreen Montalvo (On Your Feet! / In The Heights) and Danny Bolero (In The Heights / Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat) are set to star in the upcoming Jesse Sanchez written musical, "Americano: A Latinx Musical".
Bolero and Montalvo join fellow actors Amanda Robles, Jason Hurtado, Chloe Kostman and Aly Beltran in the upcoming production about a family's sacrifices and efforts to raise the next generation for a better life.
The new musical, which will be directed by award-winner Marina Montesanti with music by Jeff Chambers, has started development readings in New York City and is slated to premiere in 2019.
