Atlantic's "A Second Hand Memory" extends to January 23

Atlantic Theater Company (Artistic Director, Neil Pepe; Managing Director, Andrew Hamingson) announces a two-week extension of the world premiere production of A Second Hand Memory, written and directed by Woody Allen. Following the sold-out run of last season's Writer's Block, Allen returns to Atlantic to direct his new full-length play set in Brooklyn in the 1950's.

A Second Hand Memory features ATC company member Kate Blumberg (The Syringa Tree) and guest artists Beth Fowler (Tony nominated Broadway's The Boy From Oz), Dominic Chianese (Uncle Junior on "The Sopranos"), Nicky Katt (TV's "Boston Public," Insomnia opposite Al Pacino), Erica Leerhsen (Allen's films Anything Else and Hollywood Ending), Elizabeth Marvel (NYTW's recent off-Broadway hit Hedda Gabbler) and Michael McKean (Broadway's Hairspray, This is Spinal Tap, Lenny from the classic hit sitcom "Laverne & Shirley").

A Second Hand Memory began previews on November 3 and officially opens on Monday, November 22 at Atlantic Theater Company (336 West 20th Street, between 8th & 9th Avenues) now through January 23, 2005. The original limited engagement was scheduled through January 9, 2005.

A SECOND HAND MEMORY plays Tuesday-Saturday evenings at 8pm, Sunday evening at 7:30 pm and matinees on Saturday at 2pm and Sunday at 3pm.

ADDED HOLIDAY PERFORMANCES:

Wednesday, November 24 at 3 pm; Wednesday, December 22 at 3 pm and Thursday, December 23 at 3 pm; Wednesday, December 29 at 3 pm and Friday, December 31 at 3:00 pm.
