Archive of My Own to Present AND THAT'S WHAT YOU MISSED ON GLEE at The Green Room 42

On March 25th at 9:30pm, Archive of My Own will host a one-night-only cabaret fundraiser at The Green Room 42, titled "And That's What You Missed on Glee." The evening will raise funds toward the show's commercial Off-Broadway run, with all ticket proceeds going directly to development and production costs.

Created and written by Annabel McConnachie, Archive of My Own is a new comedy exploring the dissonance between growing up immersed in steamy Glee fanfiction, and the reality of navigating dating and hookup culture in the real world. Equal parts cringe, catharsis, and comedy, the play examines online intimacy, projection, and the strange emotional education of a digitally native generation.

The production recently completed a run at the 2025 New York Theatre Festival, where it was awarded Best Production and Best Director.

The March 25 cabaret promises a nostalgic, high-energy celebration of the cultural phenomenon that shaped a generation. The evening will feature biblically accurate covers and dance performances to iconic Glee numbers, including Run Joey Run, Total Eclipse of the Heart, Smooth Criminal, Dream On, and Rumor Has It / Someone Like You, among others.

The night will culminate in a live performance of an excerpt from Archive of My Own, performed by the original New York Theatre Festival award-winning Off-Off Broadway cast, offering audiences a preview of the show's heart, humor, and theatricality.
