Any Wednesday Presents Daryl Sherman, June 27

Tomorrow evening, June 27, Any Wednesday at Barnes and Noble plays host to the resident singer/pianist of the Waldorf Astoria, Daryl Sherman. Moving between the worlds of cabaret and jazz, our guest has established a reputation as an interpreter of the great American songbook. Her most recent CD, "Guess Who's in Town" was declared one of the 10 best of 2006 by "The New Yorker."

Upcoming performers include: Jim Van Slyke (July 11), Sue Matsuki (July 18), New Voices: Brandon Cutrell, Lillie Kae and Jane Stuart (July 25), The Cast and Creators of High Fidelity (August 1), Steve Ross (August 29), Marcus Simeone (Sept. 5), Jack Donohue (Sept. 19), Cynthia Crane (October 24).

Any Wednesday celebrates the best in jazz, cabaret and theater performers in the spacious third floor events space at the Lincoln Square Barnes & Noble at 66th and Broadway in New York City. Each performance begins at 6:00 p.m., lasts approximately a half hour and is followed by a signing/meet-and-greet session with the artists. As always, the events remain free and open to all.
