On Wednesday, August 29 New York music-world icon Annie Golden will be stepping into the roles of "Calliope" and "Aphrodite" in Xanadu, playing at Broadway's Helen Hayes Theatre (240 West 44th Street).

Golden will taking over these roles from Jackie Hoffman at both the 2PM matinee and the 8PM evening performance.  Hoffman will return to the show on Thursday, August 30.

Xanadu also stars Kerry Butler as "Kira", Cheyenne Jackson as "Sonny," Tony Roberts as "Danny" (played in the film version by Gene Kelly), and Mary Testa as the evil Muse "Melpomene." Plus Curtis Holbrook, Anika Larsen, Kenita Miller and Andre Ward.

Tickets range from $41.25-$111.25, including all facility fees, and will be available online at Telecharge.com and via telephone at 212-239-6200.  On stage seating with the "Gods" is available at the box office only for $41.25
