TOOLS FOR THOUGHT rebuild haiti draws on the will of artists to make a difference.

This one-night event will contribute to the ongoing effort to help Haiti recover from a devastating
earthquake. In the spirit of Marcel Duchamp and the readymade, members of the art world were
invited to sign and donate an object at hand: tools from the studio, personally significant objects,
or works of art. These donated works will help raise funds through a silent auction, the proceeds of which will go to the support of Haiti through Partners in Health.

TOOLS FOR THOUGHT rebuild haiti is the first of several efforts to unite the art community in using  its greatest tools at hand: the generosity and goodwill to provide aid and support for those in need.
