Anika Larsen Joins Cast of CLOSER THAN EVER Tonight

Anika Larsen joins the cast of The York Theatre Company's Closer Than Ever with Lyrics by Richard Maltby, Jr. and Music by David Shire beginning tonight, August 28, 2012. With direction by Mr. Maltby, associate direction and choreography by Kurt Stamm and music direction by Andrew Gerle, the cast also features Jacquelyn Piro Donovan (Miss Saigon, Les Misérables), George Dvorsky (The Scarlet Pimpernel) and Sal Viviano (The Full Monty). Now in performance through September 30th at The York Theatre at Saint Peter's (Citicorp Building, entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).

Richard Maltby, Jr. and David Shire's musical treasure Closer Than Ever reopened in June at the York Theatre Company with an exciting new cast and fresh additions to the timeless score. The creative team includes James Morgan (sets), Nicole Wee (costumes), and Kirk Bookman (lights). The Production Stage Manager is Bernita Robinson.

Closer Than Ever plays the following performance schedule through August 25: Mondays & Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m., Wednesdays through Fridays at 8:00 p.m. and Saturdays at 2:30 p.m. & 8:00 p.m.

After August 25: The performance schedule will change to Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m., Wednesdays through Fridays at 8:00 p.m., Saturdays at 2:30 p.m. & 8:00 p.m, and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. (There will be no performance on September 2.)
