Scollo returns to Helen's for her third engagement, having recently appeared in January as part of "The Best of Helen's" series which also included Julie Wilson and Jeanne MacDonald.

With Eyes in Love "explores the complexities of life and love through the songs of singer/songwriter Rufus Wainwright, as re-examined and re-told from the female perspective," state press notes.  Among the included songs are "Foolish Love," "Dinner at Eight," "Tower of Learning," and "The Art Teacher."

Wainwright, son of folk singers Loudon Wainwright III and Kate McGarrigle, gained attention when he performed his song "I'm A-Runnin" in the movie Tommy Tricker and the Stamp Traveller.  He also earned a 1989 Genie Award for Best Original Song and a 1990 Juno Award nomination for Most Promising Male Vocalist.  His first album "Rufus Wainwright" was named "one of the best albums of the year" by Rolling Stone and his second album "Poses" brought similar acclaim; he followed with "Want" and "Want II." His music has been described as Popera (Pop Opera) or Baroque Pop.  His music has been heard in several recent films including The Myth of Fingerprints, Big Daddy, Moulin Rouge, Shrek, Zoolander, I Am Sam, Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, The Aviator and Brokeback Mountain.

Scollo, who has played leading roles in Bill C. Davis' new musical Austin's Bridge, Falsettos, In Trousers, The Secret Garden, Man of La Mancha, Godspell and Working, has performed at Dillon's, Don't Tell Mama and The Duplex.  She attended 2004 Cabaret Conference at Yale University where she worked with Julie Wilson, Sally Mayes, Julie Halston and Carol Hall, among others.

Mary-Mitchell Campbell (Company at Cincinnati Playhouse) is musical director/pianist/arranger with Taylor Hollyer on bass. With Eyes in Love is directed by Stephen Bel Davies with technical direction by Shane Mathews.
