Andrea Meislin Gallery Announces Upcoming Events

Andrea Meislin Gallery is pleased to announce three events planned for February and March 2010. The gallery is marking its sixth anniversary in March 2010. The celebration will commence on Wednesday, February 17th with "Now We Are Six," a group exhibition featuring artists from the inaugural 2004 show and those who have joined the roster since that time. Featured artists include Shelley Adler, Lili Almog, Micha Bar-Am, Daniel Bauer, Lillian Birnbaum, Alina and Jeff Bliumis, Jean-Christian Bourcart, Boyan, Rina Castelnuovo, Michal Chelbin, Ofri Cnaani, Barry Frydlender, Itamar Jobani, Vardi Kahana, Leora Laor, Amy Simon, Andrea Stern and Yuval Yairi. Please come celebrate with us on February 17th from 6 - 8 pm.

During the first week of March, the Gallery will exhibit at two art fairs: PULSE New York and VOLTA NY.
PULSE will be inaugurating its new home at 330 West Street, a former warehouse complex in downtown Manhattan with 45,000 square feet of exhibition space. Our booth will feature a selection of Gallery artists. Please contact the Gallery if you would like passes to attend the PULSE fair.

VOLTA NY is taking place once again at 7W 34th Street, directly across from the Empire State building. By exclusively featuring solo projects, VOLTA NY promotes a deep exploration of the selected artists and an opportunity for discoveries beyond those afforded by a traditional art fair. Andrea Meislin Gallery will present a solo show of Amy Simon's work featuring new drawings and original wallpaper.

There are exciting changes ahead as well. The Gallery website will be redesigned with a fresh new look and we are posting more information on our facebook page as well as the Gallery's blog. We would also like to welcome our new neighbors Alexander Gray Associates to the second floor of the West Chelsea Arts Building.
