Andrè Schuen and Daniel Heide to Release MAHLER: LIEDER Album
The Lied duo returns to the label where their acclaimed Schumann and Schubert recordings first took shape.
Decca Classics has announced the upcoming release of a new album from Andrè Schuen and Daniel Heide, titled Mahler: Lieder, out October 9, 2026, on CD and digitally.
The album is presented by Decca Classics from partner label CAvi-music, where Schuen and Heide first established themselves as one of today's outstanding Lied duos. Their acclaimed recordings of songs by Schumann, Wolf, Martin, Beethoven, Britten and Schubert (Wanderer) for CAvi paved the way for the celebrated Schubert cycle they later recorded for Deutsche Grammophon. The duo now returns to the label where their collaboration first flourished, presenting their first album devoted entirely to Mahler's songs.
