Tony winner John Rando (Urinetown) will direct two private industry staged readings of Strange Faces, a new musical by Andrea Grody.

Kelvin Dinkins, Jr. and Zach Zamchick present the June 25 readings featuring Sean Drohan, Matthew Gumley (Elf, The Addams Family), Leah Holleran, Amy Justman (Company, Passion), Derek Klena (Wicked, Dogfight), Fred Rose (Company), and Remy Zaken (Spring Awakening).

Strange Faces features additional lyrics by Brandon Michael Lowden, music direction by Meg Zervoulis and is stage managed by Justyn Wade.

Both poignant and playful, Strange Faces explores the lives and families of three young people with Asperger's syndrome. Peter, Laura, Jamie, and their loved ones come to life in a collage of soaring music and idiosyncratic humor. Inspired by real-life interviews, Strange Faces tackles the universal themes of love, relationships, commitment, and the countless ways we use those words.

Strange Faces was originally presented in a workshop production at the Lewis Center for the Arts at Princeton University in 2011.

The reading is fiscally sponsored by Royal Family Productions.
