The Amas Six O'Clock Musical Theatre Lab presents Secrets of Songwriting, a staged reading about four women with nothing in common but a love of music are the unlikeliest of friends. They come together on one special night in Nashville to share their songs, their stories, and their secrets.

Secrets of Songwriting features a book by Michael Aman, lyrics by Michael Aman and Randi Michaels Block, music by Randi Michaels Block, and stars Sherrie Austin, Soara Joye-Ross, Sherrie Sanders, and Robin Skye. Producing artistic director is Donna Trinkoff, stage Manager is Samara Unger, music director is Steven Ray Watkins, and it is directed by Michael Bush.

Secrets of Songwriting is part of the Amas Six O'Clock Musical Theatre Lab, a development series for writers, lyricists and composers to mount free staged readings of their new musicals.

Secrets of Songwriting will be presented Thursday November 12 at 6pm, and again Friday November 13 at 3pm & 7pm. Reservations are free and can be made by calling 212.563.2565 or emailing amas@amasmusical.org. Ripley Grier Studios is located on the 10th floor at 520 Eighth Avenue.
